23 Things Finished

I liked the blog and bloglines lessons because they were the easiest to understand.
The podcasts were also good for lifetime learning. The lessons about uploading pictures were difficult for me. I am finished with this project today.

LibriVox

Ilistened to New Releases and added it to my Bloglines account.

Podcasts and You Tube

I saw the I have a Dream speech on You Tube today--very moving. The Podcasts are giving me trouble. You have to download different software to hear the podcasts.
I am having trouble adding a podcast to my Bloglines account and Fran is out of the office now.

Biblio and Medstory

Biblio is a sight for buying books. You can search bookstores in your area too.
I like it. It would be useful in finding rare and out of print books for library patrons.

Medstory is a health site. I like it but the listing of web resources seems random.
This site could be used at the Reference Desk for health questions.

Zoho Writer

Zoho Writer is like Microsoft Office in many ways. It has the collaborative features that make it more versatile. Documents from Microsoft Office and other software for word processing can be uploaded.

wpl 2.0

The social websites and services on the web are participatory. This is different than reference librarians helping patrons in the traditional way. Patrons will need input into the answering processes.
